Students in grade 2-4 will be checking out two books this week. One will be kept at school and one can be brought home.

We are back in the swing of things here at Willard South. The students will be reviewing our library and book handling rules this week. Students in grades 2-4 will be checking out two books one book needs to be at their Guided Reading level and the other we call their "choice" book. The "choice" book is anything they are interested in. Students are to bring only one book at a time home. We due this to help with overdue and lost books. Check the schedule for your child's library day. The Book Fair is approaching. The week of October 21-24 is Parent-Teacher conferences which is the same week as the book fair. We are open late during conferences on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 7:00 p.m. for the parents to browse and shop. Come and join in on the fun! If you are not able to stop by and would like for your child to purchase a book at the book fair please send their money in an envelope with their name and the teacher's name. The week is always filled with excitement because our students love to read and even more, love to shop for new titles.
